Don't forget to check the children's area of the library for easy-to-sew books. A lot of the books we'll bring you here for purchase are about how to sew and special projects using scraps and items you have on hand. So Fast, Sew Easy. This is a great book for a beginner and includes some simple patterns to get you started.	This is another book in my library. It has so many good ideas for repairing, remaking, fixing, and otherwise dealing with sewing emergencies. Note: You can also get this from Canada for a little less money.	I've used this book more times than I care to admit. This book shows you how to use simply every portion of old blue jeans, including the side seams.
Sewing for Dummies. Need I say anything more?	And lookie here! The companion Sewing Notions for Dummies book.	I had this book for a while and passed it on to a friend who was learning to sew. It's not really for idiots, but the title is catchy and dummies was taken.
I've not seen this particular book, but it seems right up my alley. I might have to get a copy. You can't have too many recycling sewing books.	Patchwork pillowcases. Use the pattern over and over for designs of your choice.	Material World: 50 Simple Sewing and No-Sew Projects for the Fabric Obsessed - I like the title as it refers to the fabric obsessed.
Using simple square shapes, you can make a lot of items for your home.	Sewing garments for beginners. Start simple and work your way up.	I saw these women on a talk show and they were turning all sorts of things into other things. Simple instructions for hacking clothes.
This is a staple in my 18" doll sewing pattern book collection. You'll use it a lot.	Simple and stylish clothes for your 18" dolls. Another keeper.	Did I mention I like to sew for 18" dolls?
